Resting on the outskirts of Albany, my hometown of Bethlehem, NY offers little diversity, with predominately white, middle-class, heteronormative representation. I have sought opportunities outside my immediate community in spite of this, discovering my passion for addressing disparities and supporting historically marginalized groups in the process.
As a non-traditional student with a passion for human connection, I approach life itself as a constant learning opportunity. Currently studying public relations and social justice at Syracuse University, I aspire to be a social worker who advocates for greater equity and inclusion in communities that often lack representation and resources.
My interest in addressing the needs of underserved communities is deeply connected to my passion for brain injury advocacy. The strength and resilience demonstrated by the disability community inspires me. No matter what the future holds, you will find me determined to continue facilitating growth and accessibility through collaborative community efforts.
